Stand with us in making the lives of the children, women, and men in our community safer.
Over the past year, we embraced the challenge to “Make the Invisible Visible” by moving from Standard to downtown Sonora. This allowed us to remove barriers and be more accessible to those who need our services. Since our move in April, the number of people we helped has nearly doubled during the same timeframe last year!
The nightmare of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse are in our community. Your donations provide emergency and transitional shelter, counseling, and support for children and adult survivors. This is a safe place of hope and healing, where lives are rebuilt and futures are restored.
Please help us support the right of all people to live free from violence.
Survivor Story:
“Living in the shelter changed my life.
I am so grateful for the advocates at CNVC,
they helped me get back on my feet.
Since leaving the shelter, I signed my first lease and started college.
I finally have a feeling of independence.”
